Sony have at last confirmed that the release date for the Playstation 3 Slim.
It is planned to hit stores on 1st September 2009 and will cost $299 in the US, €299 in Europe, 29980 yen in Japan and a whopping £249.99 in the UK.
Sony Playstation supremo, Ken Hirai says it has the same features and functions as the current PS3 but is 33 percent smaller, 36 percent lighter, and comes with a 120GB hard drive.
